Music Ministry
Psalms 150:6-“Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.”
The Music Ministry at Walls enhances every worship experience. The members of this ministry are anointed and gifted singers that are always ready to lift the name of Jesus in song! Our Minister of Music, Sister Vanessa Bryant Young encourages us to give the best that we have to the glory of God through the Ministry of Music.
Missionaries
The Missionary Society’s mission is to win souls for Christ by helping those in need within our community, including men, women and children’s shelters while supporting the CME charities and other civic and educational functions. This circle is for all ages.
Usher Board
Psalm 84: 10 is our mantra that we stand on. The Usher board or Ministers of Order as our Pastor states are here to serve you with a smile. We will greet you as you enter the sanctuary, being sure to hand you a bulletin and offering envelope. In addition, we seek to make sure that you are comfortable with a fan and a tissue if needed. We are delighted to have those who seek to be servant leaders for the people of God who enter in His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Praise Team
O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation (Psalms 95:1). Praise is what we do! Praise is why we were created! The Walls Memorial Praise Team helps usher in the Spirit in song to set the atmosphere for the preached Word.
The Band
The Walls Memorial band takes their direction from Psalms 150:3-6. We use our gifts to praise God with our instruments. #WEROCKFORJESUS
Children
YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT
The Walls Children Ministry is where a kid can be a kid. We introduce and nurture children from age 3 to 11 with learning the Bible and church doctrine all on a child’s level. Children can be part of a team participating in the choir or learn an instrument or praise dancing as well as how to speak in public with our Christmas and Easter programs. The Children have a Children’s Moment every Sunday morning, Children Church every 3rd Sunday and sing for the congregation every 4th Sunday. Sis. Gail Davis is Director of the Children’s Department.

Youth
YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT
Psalm 71:17-“ O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.”
The Ministry is designed to minister to our youth ages 12-17 years of age. Youth have the opportunity to learn about God, the church and themselves. This is accomplished by them being a part of boards and ministries in the church to develop their leadership and expand their outreach to develop into fruitful young adults and ultimately adults in Christ. Our focus is not only on showcasing their leadership at church, but to utilize those same skills and discipleship in school and in their everyday activities.
Seniors
MINISTRIES
The Senior Ministry focuses on those in the body that are 65 and over. The Seniors of Walls are active in many ministries in the church. These are the men and women that give the church a firm foundation. These men and women provide encouragement to one another as well as the rest of the body. These men and women have the wisdom and knowledge that has allowed Walls to see over 100 years of Ministry!
Women
WOMEN OF WALLS
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! (Psalms133:1)
The Womens Ministry center on meeting the needs of women in the Christian Church. The Women of Walls (WOW) Ministry is centered on relationships between women, whether it is mother to daughter, sister to sister, or friend to friend. It is strategically designed to touch, empower, include, involve, and encircle every woman. WOW seeks to not only meet every woman at the point of her need, but to strengthen her so that she may reach the point of her abundance, where a kind word is freely passed around; and love is expected to stretch to great lengths.
Men
MINISTRIES
The Men’s Ministry is for boys and men of all ages. This Ministry focuses on lifting and encouraging men to be the best they can be for Christ. The mature men are encouraged to mentor the younger men and boys. Recognizing the unique challenges that males face having a mentor that understands life from a male perspective may help avoid the pitfalls that others have experienced. The goal of the Men’s Ministry is to help men of all ages be better productive citizens and greater disciples for Christ.
Communication, Information, Technology Team
C.I.T.T.
The C.I.T.T. is responsible for all church communication which includes written, tele, streaming, videography and sound. The goal of this ministry is to assure that we reach beyond the walls to share God’s Word worldwide.
